On November 8th, Lenovo Group released its second quarter results report. The financial report shows that Lenovo’s second quarter revenue was 13.38 billion US dollars, an increase of 14%; net profit of 168 million US dollars, an increase of 21%.
According to business, for the six months ended September 30, 2018, the smart equipment business group revenue was US$22.12 billion, accounting for approximately 87% of the Group’s total revenue, up 12% year-on-year; mobile business revenue was US$3.247 billion, accounting for the Group Total revenue was about 13%, down 15% year-on-year, and overall shipments fell 20% year-on-year; data center business group revenue was $3.173 billion, up 63% year-on-year, accounting for about 13% of the group’s total revenue.
Lenovo said that Lenovo’s revenue for the quarter has reached a record high of the past four years, and it has maintained year-on-year growth for the fifth consecutive quarter, mainly due to the accelerated progress in business performance and implementation of intelligent transformation strategies.
