Daphne’s performance continued to decline but sales fell sharply

On October 29th, Daphne International Holdings Limited (hereinafter referred to as Daphne) of Taiwan-funded women’s footwear group announced its third-quarter operating information.

According to the announcement, due to the decrease in sales volume during the reporting period, Daphne’s core brand business same-store sales decreased by the number of units in the middle of the year. From July to September, the Group continued to implement the store closing strategy. The company opened 243 core brand stores in 3 months, including 235 directly operated stores and 8 franchise stores. As of the end of September, the Group operated 2,930 core brand stores.

It is worth noting that in the first half of the year, Daphne’s same-store sales fell by 9.1%, of which the second quarter was narrower than the first quarter, and the third quarter was further narrowed to a lower single-digit decline.
