Chanel’s price adjustment is about 6%.

On October 24th, the French luxury brand Chanel recently issued a statement that the brand will raise the price of three classic handbags TimelessClassic, BoyChanel and 2.55.

According to Chanel, the price adjustment is affected by production, rising raw material costs and exchange rate fluctuations, and the new price will take effect on November 1, 2018.

According to informed sources, the price increase is about 6%. This is not the first price adjustment. As early as May and July of this year, Chanel also adjusted the price of some products in the market.

The industry believes that the impact of this price adjustment on consumers is controllable. On the one hand, under normal circumstances, major brands will adjust their prices once or twice a year in the spring or at the end of the year. On the other hand, due to the high-end customer base, most of them are not sensitive to price.
